The difficulty is that not all clients are ready for change and that in fact some of them are change-averse’, told us Pascal Baucler, SVP & Chief Strategy Officer at MSLGROUP, in an interview with PR Romania on how innovation will take PR to the next level.

What I find very interesting here is that Lensbaby is currently holding a crowd funding campaign for the Sweet Spot Lens on Kickstarter, where a pledge of $50 will preorder one. Orders will ship starting in July and August.The crowdfunding campaign is a test to see if there exists a market for this lens. Bright, clever, spot on. Another evidence of how disintermediation is rapidly and profoundly changing the rules of the game - and why brokerage-based businesses are potentially under threat.

While Facebook’s mission once was solely “to make the world more open and connected”, it’s expanded to also “give people the power to share.” And nothing is too crazy if it brings Facebook one step closer to that goal.

A few days later, Facebook announced it was acquiring messaging app WhatsApp for a record $19 billion. In the social media space, players made big moves in content. LinkedIn opened up its blogging platform to all users – it was originally reserved for a small group of industry leaders or ‘LinkedIn Influencers.’ Klout moved from measuring social influence to helping people increase their influence with a new content suggestion platform.
